So, Im bringing Alex (my 12 yo) to see his pediatrician this afternoon at 2 because today he has a rash that's spreading, pink eye, feels sick to his stomach, sore throat, headache, achy all over and incredibly tired. Now, with Zika being only an hour away from us, I'm worried, because he got bit quite a few times when he went fishing with his daddy on Saturday. Takes 2 or so days for symptoms to start. Worried but praying everything will be okay.

@ehq @mommagotbump16 apparently we would need to go to the Health Department to get a Zika test done, because doctors offices here aren't carrying it yet. But it's a possibility being that his pediatrician said it IS in fact here in Lee County now. He tested him for strep and mono and they were both negative. He said keep a watchful eye. He has all the symptoms. If he's no better by tomorrow afternoon I am gonna bring him in to be tested. Thanks ladies for caring xo
