yeah my dr wants to induce me early because my first daughter was 9lbs 12oz. Not sure when though, gotta ask at my next appointment

it wouldn't hurt to ask but you should ask about the risks first cause it could be your baby isn't done cooking so you might not want to rush it if there's no complications.

ive seen where drs will induce early if ur having a "big baby" even before 40 weeks but looks like our drs just wants us to suffer lol..

im in the same situation. hard to stand walk even lay down and i get this unbearable sharp pain when i try to stand to even go to the restroom at night....everyone is surprised that they haven't induced me already seeing as baby is two weeks ahead in size.

@mrs.rcleveland, you and I both.. she's so big Im in constant pain.. hurts so bad to sit up hands swell up and hurt which they said it's normal and it's like carpal tunnel and my feet swell to where it hurts to walk on them and they burn.. only time I feel a little comfortable Is laying down which that's when my back starts to hurt my hands fall asleep no matter how I sleep

also I let them know my family was here from Cincinnati and they had to leave soon and still no baby so I called 3 days early asking if they can move the date up they had someone call and said if no one comes in then to head up there at 8am

im going to my 40 week Thursday and im asking to be induced.....no harm in asking them....im definitely going to flip out if they deni me tho

you have to be 40+ weeks. I was 40 weeks and they scheduled me for induction for when I hit 41. I rocked on a birthing ball all week and my water broke on its own the day before I was supposed to be induced
