Question? Socks or no socks in the SUMMER? I'm sort of a free feet person & I have my baby the same way. & old ppl always say "that baby need socks on or where's his socks" it's summertime & hot asf! & then he's a sweater I'm not finna have my baby overheating cause y'all old ppl think otherwise. yea I'm a FTM but my baby is FINE & I know my son. now if we're in a cool air conditioned place then yea I'll put them on. I just hate when ppl say he need socks tho ughhhh 😒... when fall comes he'll have them on & then some, but now I just feel it's not as necessary in the summer.

@nicemmcha2015, right!! I just don't get it! & growing up I neverrr wore socks really I still hate them. only if I'm wearing shoes.
lol this was a big question for me as well, I put socks on my baby bc she won't keep shoes on, unless we are going to the park were it's going to be hot esp since we live in Texas, so often my baby is without socks but I do carry a pair with me just in case it is cold inside, my baby is very warm body and hates to be hot, so she has few layers of clothes lol
if it's cold then yes socks.. if not then I don't fool with it. my daughter is 11 weeks old and has a body temperature like her daddy... Hot as hell all the time. and I live in "the middle of Satan's butt Crack" ga... It's freakin scorching. so socks is a no go unless we go into a could home or building or store. i take a pair and put them on her then. but I've always wondered wtf does your feet have to do with getting sick... germs make you sick... not cold feet of wet hair. if you're gonna get sick it's gonna be from germs.. not going barefoot. my mama used to drive me nuts with that crap growing up..
@francesgln92, exactly. idk why ppl have such an issue about it. They act like my 2 month old can run yet alone walk lol like chill folks he good over here.

@paisleemommie, yeaa true enough but if baby's feet & hands are warm then it shouldn't be much of an issue. & it's not like he's walking anywhere to get sick or anything. & when he did have socks on his feet they started to feel sweaty & had a mild smell. I hate some funky feet esp on a baby. but to each it's own
I only put socks on him when we are going out because it could be cold where we go , and they say to dress your baby with one more layer than you wear yourself
I say socks cause baby's immune system are not as strong as ours.!And if you dont wanna do socks i say at least shoes.! But if you at home then i say its fine but if you out nd about i say definitely socks lol
My daughter hates socks. She refuses to have them on. Me on the other hand I have to where socks unless I'm in the mood for flips flops that's the only time I'm not wearing them
I put socks on my son when it's cold. Their body temp is different from ours too.
the only time I put socks on my daughter is when we are going somewhere cause she hate shoes or when she is done with her bath.
I only put socks on my daughter if its cold. Other than that she doesn't wear socks. She'll take them off if I put them on her anyways.
