ok mommies I take my baby girl to get her shots tomorrow. she is a month old. what should I expect.?? I feel bad BC I know she is gonna scream & hurt and I feel like I'm going to cry more than she will lol
I don't even know if it changed for everyone or of it is just a personal preference for my baby's pediatrician. It was twelve years between my kids. Lol!
@ariliyahzihmommy3, I live in Kentucky.
@jboogie thanks I know everyone has told me to give it to her 45 min before her appointment
We didn't get shots till 2 months either
But listen if you have time to call your Pediatrician before you go in ask them about Tylenol before shot. I was advised not to give it before, because it effects the shots. Even though I have older children and I always gave it to them before, it has changed. Where my child goes to the doctor anyway...
Guess it depends on where you live. My baby had her month old appt this past Thurs and she didn't get shots *Thank God*
@brantleysmommy25, thank you. I bought some infants Tylenol today but doesn't give me directions on how much to give her. says "ask doctor"
And I didn't start giving Tylenol until after 2 months and until dr okay it
@babynessa, that's what they had told me when I took her for her check right after she was born.
She may be grouchy and fussy. Give her Tylenol before you go to her dr apt. Helps with no fever after shots. I took my son for his shots at 6 weeks old
@ariliyahzihmommy3, @momi2b4 hmm that's what they told me. if no shots tomorrow I'm okay with that
Why is she going at 1 month? I had my daughter's first shots at 2 months then 4 months and she will get her final set at 6 months.
@jboogie, lol this is my first
