everyone is talking about getting induced.... when does that happens? you get that when you are a high risk or not?

Maybe it appears for no reason, but I dont know any doctor that will do it before 39 weeks if it is not medically necessary. Someone can be medically high risk and not look like it on the outside. Other times its elective by pt and most drs will not do that until 39 weeks minimum, some will make you wait past your due date.

I would say try and go into labor naturally I only chose getting induced cuz I live 45 miles away from town and that's not including stop signs and red lights lol @marcial_naomi

Yeah I know. I couldn't have been induced even if I wanted my doctor doesn't so it unless you're 40 weeks. they aren't supposed to induced until 39 weeks but some doctors still do it whenever they want smh @marcial_naomi

@marcial_naomi, yeah I've tried all that too.. im almost 39 weeks myself

@kbrown91 but it was a medical emergency some just do it because they feel miserable and they can not take the pain anymore

@brudd330 that is toooooo much work... nah, I rather wait I mean only way if i am pass my due date.... but that sounds like it's more pain...

@atw2016 it hurts yes and is so uncomfortable to even sleep I understand all that I am 38wks but i do not understand how can someone say yes when they are only 34wks or 35wks.... like not trying to be rude but some say is cuz they are miserable and they want to get it over with.

they start with a pill that goes up ur V and then they start u on pintocin(it goes in it I.V) and they give u a pain med but that don't work lol. then when u hit a certain number in dilating they give u the. epidural. @marcial_naomi

my doctor brought up inducing me but they won't do it until 41. I'm 38 and no where near starting to dilate..I'm miserable af but I don't wanna be induced. @marcial_naomi

@brudd330 do they give you something? or is it a needle?

@mommyof2016 I am 38wks and they all tell me dance, walk a lot, drink a lot of water that will help.... I have been in pain since I was 34wks and I never thought of been induced your body knows the limits

yes it is u don't get any breaks from the contractions at all at least that's how it was for me I only got 30minutes of sleep lol @marcial_naomi

@cubanese but does not it hurts to get induced? I am 38wks only way I will do it if my feet keep getting worst and my kid is in a high risk

@cubanese yes like at 35wks that is too early my sister in law got induced 3 days before her due day due to her small body

my doc induced me at 40w 2D I wasn't high risk just over due lol
