Anyone get a haircut before 12 months? My almost 10 month old son has long hair that I have to tuck his hair behind his ear and when he wakes up in the morning it's a mess! I feel like a lot of people judge if you give a haircut before a year old.. Not that I care but just wondering what you guys think !

my nephew has really curly hair and it wouldnt look right if he left it to grow out for too long. he just turned 1 this month but hes been getting haircuts since 7 months. It took us a while though to find someone whod actually cut his hair. mostly everyone said we have to wait till hes 1 so that risk of getting an infection is low. Just make sure who you go to cleans their equipment before putting it on your child
I don't have a son but with my nephew he had so much hair at 9 or 10 months I took him to get a hair cut. The lady just trimmed his hair. He didn't get a buzzer to his head till he was around 1 and half

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. well I think you're not supposed to use a razor or whatever since the baby has bald spots but girl I took scissors and was cutting my own baby hair around 9 months cuz I hated the look..once he became one he got a real haircut
