I put that mamaroo on layaway when I first found out I was pregnant, I took it off once I saw my cousin only used hers for 3 months..

My daughter sleeps in it sometimes but prefers to suckles asleep

They don't stay in them long for that much money I paid 70 dollar my one.. I feel like they are just for show..

I have it and the verdict is this, it worked sometimes but it's like that with any swing, I think because it's expensive people are like, it's pointless, which I agree. You're better off with a swing with two settings and a lot of cushion

@mazeyy09, I tried finding one 2nd hand lol. there was a baby boom here and I couldn't even find a pack and play 2nd hand for weeks. I dug my daughter's old swing out for kirk but the motor busted on it :( and I was like "screw it" and went to buy a new one.

Yeah I wouldn't spend full retail on it. I could get a swing and a few other things for that price lol. I love barely used items. The best kind 😊next to free of course lol @kayloniandkirksmommy

@kayloniandkirksmommy, yeah I think I will. I was really excited about it. So many different movements, it's appealing to the eye lol & I can control it from my phone. Huge plus!

@godsjoi, totally understand. I was really upset about selling the minnie mouse one we had. kirk luckily fell in love with his swing right away. I say go for it, but keep in mind it's ultimately up to baby lol.

@godsjoi, you can always sell it if your baby doesn't like it. kayloni had a minnie mouse one that swung side to side and boy she hated it, eventually settled on an old school one that went back and forth. but if you swing my son that way, he screams. he's content side to side. it's like hit and miss with babies.

My son enjoys his, but also enjoys his 60.00 portable swing. Mine was a gift from my sister.

I was going to get one and was so excited because I wanted one for my daughter when I saw it in the nicu but it wasn't in stores yet, and it didn't come out until she was like a year old. but when I got to babies r us, the sales girl I asked told me it's the one swing that she sees returned the most, she said that yes, they're excellent swings, but people are just widely unhappy with it apparently. I have a fisher price one that mimics the mamaroo and my son absolutely loves it, it only has 2 movements, but it works wonders.

I plan on selling mine. Next babyim gonna go old school with the toys lol they rather you rock them yourself anyway lol

I keep seeing that some babies love it and some don't. I wonder why. I've never heard that about any other swing. @mazeyy09

waste of money. My son won't even sit in his. I got him a $12 jumper and he loves it lol
