Desperate need of help!!!
My daughter all day has just screamed! Everything I've done that I normally do too make her feel better, isn't working. She has been fed and changed and still screams... I'm about in tears and my anxiety is flaring with overwhelm. What do I do? 😢
@ella1007, yeah I'm terrified of that lol because she is so used too it I was worried it would be like sleep training all over again and that was miserable lol
I was afraid Aubrey wouldn't go to sleep without the boob but she does. I give her a bath then I hold her while she takes her bottle and she goes to sleep like that ❤️
@ella1007, that's where I'm getting too... hopefully i can still do it too help put her to sleep
I hope it works! I felt so guilty when I first gave Aubrey formula but it was the best thing for us. We were both miserable when I was only breast feeding
@ella1007 I just did 2oz of breastmilk and 2 oz of gentlease enfamil because I already had a can from samples. So I'm hoping it helps
I started doing half breast milk and half formula in a bottle then just kept decreasing breast milk. I had to try 3 different formulas until I found one that worked for her. She's on similac sensitive
@ella1007 that was me today I swear... how could I switch her easily?
I'm not sure about the milk drying up. I didn't produce much so I switch to formula only at 2 months. Aubrey is finally asleep. Of course I'm holding her but at this point I don't care what I have to do for her to stop screaming for a few mins. I started crying with her because it's that bad 😢
I put one in there for the hell of it and she actually is taking it. Also I fed her some baby food and she acted like she felt better to. Could my milk actually be drying up now? I'm just lost. Plus I have no money for the tablets but I did give her some Tylenol so I'm hoping that helps too 😫
Aubrey has been the same today and I'm exhausted! Teething tablets and Tylenol have helped. She has a runny nose ☹️
I'm pretty sure it's his teeth because i froze some of his chewing toys and they keep him happy until they aren't cold anymore. your baby is the same age so it could very well be that! trust me, its been breaking my heart!😔
lillys teeth haven't come through yet but her gums are super white so I know they hurt. I would try the wash cloth thing, a bath, and if those don't work maybe orajel or a little Tylenol. I freeze water in little popsicle trays and let her chew on that too.
@Lillymom2016, maybe she won't let me look but from what I see I didn't see anything...
@mrs.mccormick I will try the wash cloth! And then a bath def. thank you... her growth spurts have never been this bad so I didn't know if it was or not..
I'm literally going through the exact same thing today!😭
ps she's at the age where she could be going through a growth spurt as well - it's a mental growth spurt, where their brain just begins absorbing everything they see and hear, and during that spurt they scream and cry a lot for no reason and don't sleep at night. Usually lasts a week or two but then she will be back to her normal self. Fingers crossed something works!
try rubbing her gums with a dry washcloth, if she's teething she will love that. If you have a mesh feeder bag, put some frozen banana or ice in there and let her gum that. If those dont work, a warm bath and singing to her, or take a walk or car ride and maybe those will help
Lilly has those days. She has been going through this thing where only I can hold her. She won't even let her daddy feed her. Could she be teething?
@jaydensmom0509, she woke up from a nap like 30 mins ago..
@miilyfestyle, she will be 6 months on the 3rd of September
@mrs.mccormick, no I haven't.. she won't let me put her down for two seconds. I have too stand and even then she starts screaming after a few minutes. I've given her gas drops, no temp, her tummy isn't hard. So I don't know what else I can do..
A bath then nap might calm her .. it helps with my baby
Have you tried taking her for a walk or car ride?
Geez I know! I'm praying Aubrey stays asleep tonight. I'm exhausted 😞
