Parenting is going to go off what's natural - who I truly am.

I dont believe in "What I say goes"

"I'm big , you're small"

"I'm the adult, you're the child" Ego driven parenting basically.

Its not natural for me to think and respond to "issues" with a sense of authority towards a child. I'm the mum yes but I'm also a listener, a learner, someone who is also growing.

See, my belief is children already have the blueprint to who they are. I can benefit from them just as much, if not - MORE.

I don't believe that my child can thrive off parenting that is seeing them as a minority.

We don't flex over here, I'm not the "watch your mouth" when I clearly have little control over my own.

"Don't talk back" when my child SHOULD voice their opinion

"Crybaby, Bad child, sissy" Nah, toxic description should not, and will not be spoken on innocent beings. Take the time to actually understand what a child is expressing through their actions without labeling them.

Gender neutral, liberal & free lance parenting ya'll

@ceeasquared, sounds like a well-balanced method to parenting, being your authentic self but also taking the dominant lead.. I commend you!

@troixmikahw, I agree. It's hilarious but embarrassing when she says it in public super loud 😂

@karennn, 😂 we can't contain self expression - we are bound to slip up eventually! I just hope when it comes time, I explain the meaning of explicit words and why and when they should be used. But those moments are indeed hilarious

I am a gender neutral, free lance, liberal, organic, homeopathic, barefoot walking, would love to raise my children barefoot and dancing in the woods type of mom, but I've also learned that although they have rights as children and a right to voice their opinions and have a voice, kids also crave structure, guidance, and authority. There is a boundary where we can have fun and laugh and joke, but at the same time I am in charge. If we were all in charge it would be chaos. My children are allowed to have voices and opinions on the choices they want to make, but ultimately at the end of the day my choice trumps all. Kids without authority, in my opinion, tend to run rampant.

@mommytobe0703, boundaries are totally understandable. I just don't believe in being a total hypocrite to being an individual

Oh my god my 18 month old says "Oh shit" because one of us must of slipped and said it. It's so hard trying to teach her something else that sounds familiar so she can stop lol

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

I don’t hate my parents for letting me believe. In fact, I don’t know one person who hates their parents for letting them believe. I see a lot of: “I’m not gonna lie to my child” posts about Santa. And I’m talking from day one. How do you not let a two year old believe in Santa? My thoughts? I love the magic and joy that is Santa, and Christmas and the real meaning of Christmas all in one. Ill “lie” to my child. Definitely. I’ll let her enjoy the magic for the few short years she’ll believe. 🎄✨

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. What's annoying you at the moment??

What's annoying you at the moment?? Girls who blatantly claim, "I'm gonna use my looks to my advantage" really annoy me, and people who post political things on social media, also annoys me!
