How much do you pump when your baby is 4 weeks?

do you mean how often or a quantity?

so when I first started pumping at 4 weeks I would try to pump after 3 or 4 feedings a day. my LO was still eating every 2-3 hrs so pumping right after you don't get much but it stimulates more production. also pumping in the morning will yield a bugger quantity but a "thinner" milk. you may only get drops, you may get an ounce or more.. there is no normal. once I went back to work I feed her before leaving and pumped every 2 hrs from that time point. I've now stretched it to every 3 hrs.

@babyjrsmomma, so how much breastmilk were you giving him? My son is taking 3oz pumped and I'm pumping 2-4 oz each feeding but I feel like its not enough milk that I'm making.

I am barely pumping about 2oz @jovromero but we are supplementing with formula as well. Which was suggested before we left hospital... Since my baby lost weight 😕

@babyjrsmomma, I do both as well but pump too. I also do it for the same reason. I am trying to get back to breastfeeding only so we'll see how that goes.
