Originally, I was pretty adamant on waiting till 6 months to introduce foods, but my daughter turns 5 months on Tuesday and she's so incredibly intrigued with people eating! Did any of you mommies experience this and when did you introduce solids?
@alliecat_, yeah, I was reading that she still might want to breastfeed afterwards, so I should offer it?
@luuuuuucyyy, we're going to try homemade veggies today 😁 wish us luck! Hahah
because I was giving her the 6 oz of milk, I would just give her about 4 tbsp and she would eat a little more than half. she had lost a lot of weight so her doc was okay with it.
thanks 😊 yay I started with veggies and if he didn't spit it out he liked it. some will come out but he loves it
What a cutie! @luuuuuucyyy I think I'm going to start her on solids today 🙈 How do you go about introducing them?
My daughter tries taking food and water bottles from people. Hahah, is this her way of saying she's ready? @alliecat_
sure! wont hurt to try. if she wants, give her a taste. always small amounts when you try, to see how she handles it. but small things like the homemade veggies & chicken, applesauce and mashed potatoes... they'll always enjoy it more than bbyfood! they'll hate that crap after they get the real stuff.
