Why is everyone so stuck up about people bringing gifts to the baby showers? I would much rather have people come to celebrate and have fun than be greedy about gifts. It's not other peoples' responsibility to provide for your child. It's yours. You got knocked up.

School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
It's ok to say that pregnancy sucks. Because for some, it does. Not everyone has a pregnancy with no symptoms or complications to complain about. If you admit it sucks, it doesn't mean you're not greatful or don't love your baby. It just means you're being honest. The same with motherhood. That sucks sometimes too. That doesn't mean you don't love your kids and don't do your best to give them the world. I know it's old but it popped up in a snapchat story about how people (Especially other moms) bashed Kim Kardashian for being honest about her pregnancy. I appreciate her honesty and not sugar coating everything to seem perfect.
Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Since everyone is telling me to.. Here it is.. Well on mom life you stated your procedure was for a hole in your stomach.. But on instagram you "kicked cancers ass" and basically had throat cancer?.. I don't like liars!! Why lie?! I lost the people i loved most to cancer! That's not something to fucking joke about! I lost all respect for you! And if you really do have cancer why lie on mom life saying it was for a hole in your stomach?it just makes no sense to me!

Amennnnnn. I wanted people to come support and celebrate, not bring gifts. BUT I can see where others are coming from- like you spend all this money for decorations, food, etc and they come to eat and leave. That's upsetting too.

Then one should probably reevaluate the people in the life.... Why would I even want someone to come if that's all they're doing? But I would've bought those decorations whether they came or not, and had made food whether they came or not so why does those few people get to dictate the love of other people? @valerie_jean

I was more bothered about people not showing or having common the courtesy to tell me they weren't coming. I invited 100 people and showed. Quality over quantity is my motto, the gifts were the added bonus... I really just wanted to see all my family since we're spread out.
