I spent the day at Phx Children's Hospital yesterday with my baby girl. She went 24 hours only eating maybe 12oz total. She wouldn't take the bottle at all, she went 6 hours without eating & then vomited. I called the pediatrician & they sent us to the ER. We get there and get back in a room, they have me give her some Pedialyte and then wait & try formula...of course she drinks 1 oz so they send us home & said as long as she has more than 2 wet diapers a day we shouldn't come back. I was furious. They said she'll determine when she is hungry, don't force it. I just keep thinking she has a virus or a stomach bug, something. They didn't even check for anything!
