Did anyone use red raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil to help with labor/cervix? I'm 36+4 and will be induced at week 38 if he doesn't come on his own. I'm looking for things to naturally help as I do not want an induction. I eat spicy food all the time and keep doing so, I excercise everyday and walk a lot, I've tried nipple stimulation, and I can't have sex due to my husband being deployed. I refuse to use Castor oil due to the possible side effects to the baby.
Thank you mommas!!
I didn't get the tea, I was way to lazy to try and find it, I guess that's a good thing! lol I'm just ready for this baby to be here! Im going to start taking the epo today! Thank you so much! :)
I heard the raspberry leaf tea causes diarrhea (most of the teas do) and that's why I didn't try them... some women swear by it, but just like caster oil, anything that gives you diarrhea can also make your baby have a bowel movement in the womb...
I took the 1,000mg 3 times a day orally... Then I'd cut open 2 and squeeze them out as close to my cervix as I could reach (at night though coz it's messy)... I saw 1,300mg ones on amazon.
@kala_elise, how many did you take each time and the Mg? I only found 1000 mg of the oil. I hope it works! :)
I used evening primrose oil... it caused minor contractions, but nothing consistent... BUT..... One positive thing that I can say about it (because it's used for sooo many things), I didn't tear or require an episiotomy (and I did with my first 2)... I honestly believe that had a lot to do with the primrose oil... I took it orally and also inserted it vaginally at night starting around 36 weeks... It also helps a lot with breast tenderness.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
no problem! I felt exactly the same way you did! lol
