I'm confused... how they can schedule a csection at 39 weeks...but refuse to induce someone at 39 weeks...someone explain...
It depends on the reason for the c-section. If they're scheduling it for 39 weeks then they're trying to get it done prior to labour happening. If there is no medical reason for an induction then they won't agree to it prior to 40/41 weeks to give baby the most time possible to develop.
I just gave birth June 29th labored for 18 hrs I just felt like that was too dang long for baby #6
39 weeks with all my babies I was not playing I gave the doctor's and nurses pure hell @karina809
I had 5 inductions and that's because I went the hell off....But was quick to cut me with my new baby talking bout he was breeched a few times, but I get what you saying makes no sense to me @karina809
C section are scheduled when you can't do labor naturally. Inducing is a last option when your body doesn't go into labor on its own.
It really depends on the Doctor. Without a medical reason most doctors won't induce or c section you before 39 weeks.
