Does anyone else have MIL problems? My fiancé and I only recently got engaged. We didn't plan it or make a huge deal of it, we aren't really that kind of a couple. She sent him a text saying she was unhappy she didn't know about the engagement and that she hoped she'd at least be included. His ex wife was extremely rude and hostile to her and his other family. So I sent her a message essentially saying I'm sorry you didn't know, it wasn't really a very planned engagement and I'd be more than happy to include you in my plans. I offered her my number if she'd like and said I didn't want to handle this like his ex did. She then proceeds to call him after completely ignoring me and yell at him about how it was rude what I said and how she didn't appreciate it and then berate him on a ton of other subjects. I was extending an olive branch and she went way out of her way to misconstrue literally every single thing I said. I no longer feel bad. I won't be hateful to her, but I don't need to get bitten twice you know? I don't understand some women.
Woow, seems like she just doesn't want to even try . If she really wanted to be a part of it & stuff I believe she would put her guard down & try to understand & get past it but her just twisting things around even more makes it seem like she doesn't even really care & is just saying it for the drama/attention. That's what I think lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

I think so as well @steppphh. I re read the message just to double check and there is nothing in there that had even a remotely rude tone. She had to sit there for two days to find a way to say there were things wrong with it, then insult and yell at her son on the phone over it instead of just letting me know. Had I known I would have responded nicely. But she didn't even give me a chance to defend or explain myself against her accusations. I won't be hateful to his mother, but I'm also not a doormat. I won't deal with that. It's just sad that she has to be that way since my family love her son.
