Aggggghhhhhhh omfg I need a rant, I'm ready to run away! So I really don't like my oh family, the lot of them, they are just so completely different to my family and friends and have completely different ideas about parenting and really everything! They are also extremely touchy-feely in the sense of there always hugging and making contact with each other, nothing wrong with it I just have my bubble and don't like people entering my bubble without prior permission, anyway they live in Scotland and I live in Belfast so we rarely have to see them thank goodness but they like to make up for all the lost time and as much as iv told them to fuck off politely and give me my personal space they just don't listen! Anyway in due the 15th of October and his mum and dad have decided to come over to visit and meet there first grandchild on the 31st! I was okay with this as they have every right to meet her but I was under the impression it would only be for a weekend and they'd be renting an apartment literally 2 minute walk from ours but they've now decided that there coming for 5 days and staying in our house in our daughters bedroom on the floor and are demanding to do all night feeds! This would be fab but I no for a fact I'm going to have to baby sit them too and do all the cooking and cleaning because they can't even clean there own house, I'm so not okay with this and I just know there going to try and fully take over my daughter and my life and the worst bit is I'll be on my own with them because my oh will be back to work by then, my oh is also suggesting we allow his dad to buy temporary insurance for MY car! (Well the oh pays for it but I'm the only driver out of us and it's my name on the tax book and everything) I am absolutely fuming at all of this! Swear to goodness I'm moving out that week there here!
Are you being induced or c-section? As you can go upto 2weeks over your due date, so pretty much when they're arriving! I'd be temping nothing worse than invasion of privacy in your own home especially when you feel so vulnerable after birth! Can they not find alternative accommodation or tell your partner if he's insisting for them to stay ect that he takes a few holiday days off work to cater to them! Xx
As much as I feel this should have been a joint decision between you all. If it's already booked & their coming, just think that's it's only for 5days in the big scheme of things. You would have just had a baby so I'm sure they don't expect you to be running around after them. And if they did... Don't. Who knows you may even like the company & I'm sure the 5days will be over before you know it. Your daughter will be sleeping in whichever room your sleeping in so they won't be doing night feeds. Also. Your a grown women & it's your child. Stand up & tell them you'll be doing her night feeds. It's important you bond & spend as much time with your newborn. They can do an odd feed during the day if your happy with that. If your partner & his family didn't respect you enough to ask if this was all ok with you then make sure they know how things will be when their over @alexmcatamney All families are different however unfortunately they come with our partners so sometimes we have to grim & bear it! 😬
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@beadyeyes93, hoping to go naturally so praying I don't go over and have to be induced because I'm not even planning to tell them when I'm in labour and as bad as it sounds I'll be making sure I have my oh too distracted by my pain to even think about telling them himself, he's on about face timing them from the hospital so I'm going to make sure that 100% doesn't happen, they have the option to stay in an apartment 2 minute walk from our house but they don't want to pay the £125 it would cost and we sure as hell aren't paying it for them and unfortunatly his work has set periods of time off so he can't just take a few days, like I'm genuinely considering moving in with my friend and her wee boy for that week, like even when all of them were over in June for our wedding my head was so so melted constantly having to make sure everyone was happy and I had to give up my life to work round them and I'll be melted enough with having a new born never mind trying to entertain them too, his mum also sent me a message the other day with a picture of an inflatable bath saying "ohh you should get this so as nana can help with bath time too and by nana I mean me" and I was just thinking "first of all we don't need one its just shit we don't need and 2 you won't be around for bath time and certainly will not be bathing MY daughter ever", I'm still fuming and probs gonna be till it's over lol
