I've heard around 3 months is the best age. Once they get older they tug at their ears more which could result in them pulling the earring out. That just happened with my niece, and my sister couldn't get the earring back through without hurting her so now she's just got one ear pierced.

a friend on mine got both her daughters pierced at 3 weeks. I am going to pretty soon and mine is 1years
