I've been given a sick note for pregnancy related headaches that I suffered with around 20 weeks so I'd imagine they would do. It's just the issue of the hurrendous pay. Why don't you just take your maternity leave earlier? My mum was trying to persuade me to take mine at 28 weeks... Apparently that's what everyone did in hose days xx

@jodieiokie, aw I managed through the headaches in my 1st trimester but I've had enough now. We get full pay on sick with NHS though, so I don't think that will affect me?

Give it a go then Hun. Cant hurt to try. You need to look after yourself in pregnancy and if taking. Few weeks off will help then why not. I only got 2 weeks but they would of given me more if I asked for it. I had SPD with my sons pregnancy and it was horrible so I know how you feel. If your on your feet a lot then your best having some time off cause it only gets worse xx

@jodieiokie, hi Hun, I managed, the doctor gave me a 4 week sicknote straight away so I'm relieved! So that takes me up to my holidays then maternity, feel so much better knowing I can rest now. Thanks for the advice honey x
