It's all personal decision but they do not recommend using these because they can lead to hip issues. In moderation, I personally do not see much risk for harm. But just like any seat, they should only be used in moderation. A lot of daycare centers no longer allow these types of seats because of the risks associated. Same goes for walkers and jumpers. Walkers are actually illegal in some states now.
@pregoprincess, I guess it's all personal preference, as long as she can hold her head up good I'd start sitting her in it ☺️ I think it helped a lot, she started sitting up all by herself at 5ish months.

I would wait a couple months to where she can kind of sit up a little more.
