I'm still trying to understand how parents leave their babies in the car seat in a hot car? How can anyone forget they have a child in a car for hours?? How??

How/why do you buy a car EVERY year with your tax refund?? I know people can spend their money how they want...no judgement, u can buy 1,000 packs of skittles...but I know 2 ppl who has bought a car EVERY tax season for the last 3 years!! Like stop buying buckets and spend a little more for a better car or put a down payment on one. I just think that's a waste of money. I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
