@sammy, I've bought a Moses basket off eBay and before I bought it I checked the description which said safe to British standards, it wasn't second hand tho it was new, it's lovely, just for front room during day as I've got a chicco next2me crib for bedroom xxx

loads of people sell them on eBay and Gumtree you just have to look at the sellers reviews @sammy :)

regardless of where you buy from it depends on the buyer to whether it's safe. some people are safe to buy off. ask questions ie has this car seat been in an accident etc before buying
