I'm going to try my hardest not to get emotional. However not a single person from my dad's side is able to make it to my shower. Granted my dad has never been a real father to me so I wasn't surprised he couldn't come. But my uncle(his brother) has been very involved in my life since birth and has been more like a father to me. He won't make it either and neither will my grandma who I love or aunt. So this has been a real big deal to my mom and it haven't really effected me until now it's starting to set in that they won't be apart of it I just want to break down and cry. But I'm going to try my best to hold it all together🙁😢😭

My dad isn't even coming to mines 😒 but we never had a close relationship anyway.

@simply_unsimple, right same here I'm not worried about my dad that much just my uncle and grandma who I am extremely close with. But he didn't surprise me one bit when he said he couldn't make it😐

Yeah it does suck when the people you actually want to come can't make it..But I'm sure you'll still have a good shower tho 😀 I never even invited my dad to my shower, my sister did..So when he said he wasn't coming, I was just like ookay. 🙃
