How many moms had the epidural ? And how many moms went natural and what was your experience in going natural and would you recommend anyone to do it ?
@mv92, oh yeah and see that's what I don't want to have to worry about. If they did it right because it's like what's the point of getting poke if I can still feel everything I would of had a bad attitude
@sarahb518, thank you ! I'm going to try it and see how far I can go. Lol
@madilynn16, yeah that's good. I'll prbly try it I don't want to have back problems after the epidural I'll just suck it up lol
@michelle2220, oh okay that's cool that how I need to be. I heard it's better to be lifted up and not completely laying on your back
I would not have been able to squat, I was too numb to even grab my own legs and push 😂
@ambyjay7, yes i was so pissed. they put a damn needle in my back so i wouldn't get crazy high blood pressure through the pain (preeclampsia ) since i was already getting induced due to it at 32 weeks, so i expected hardly any pain or tolerable. nope, i felt it all, probably didn't put it in right.
I went all natural with both of my girls. If you think you can do it, I would def recommend it!
I went all natural with son my active labor was only an hour so it fast. I went natural with my but I was in induced and the contractions came much harder and want medicine in the iv but it was to late because I progressed really fast and my active labor was only 45 minutes but it was very intense.
some hospitals have a squat bar or you can be standing and squat just a little
I did epidural and I loved it I just hate it now because it triggered my migranes and my back hurts a lot three weeks post partum😭
How would I do that if I'm laying in the bed tho ? They can have me up a little ? @michelle2220
if you squat when you are pushing and don't push to quickly you're less likely to rip.
See I guess everyone has different situations with the epidural. Yeah I don't want to be stuck I want to be able to move around. And then some of you guys are saying it was good. I'll just have to pray to God that everything is okay lol thanks ladies ! Yeah if I rip and don't get the epidural lord knows how bad that pain will be when they stitch me up lol I'm not ready for that ! @bentleysmomma @michelle2220 @naylaa
I went as long as I could without, but once they started the pitocin they said it would make the contractions worse and so I got the epidural, it didn't hurt to get, and I didn't feel a thing when I had my son. I didn't feel the episiotomy, didn't feel him come out, didn't feel them stitch me up. I loved the epidural
I had an epidural for my first and I was induced with her and the pain was just horrible. I had to be in a wheel chair for two weeks bc the back pain was so bad. I'm gonna really try my hardest to go natural with this one bc the recovery was horrible and I wanna be in control of my body and I don't wanna be bound to a bed
I feel like the epidural is gods gift to women. Lol 💓
@ambyjay7 whatever you decide will be perfect im sure. best wishes!
Well that's good he stop cracking jokes at the end lol. Well let me give my husband a warning lol @klove23
but don't get me wrong he was great after I was able to get that pain under control cx
@kambam, oh okay well maybe it won't be to bad for me , I hope ... Lol
trust me I know. I went in 2 times before delivering. my contractions would stop as soon as I walked in. and once ypure there they connect you to all types of things.. I rather be in my bath tub and wait til my water breaks. luckily we live 5min away
Oh well that's good you didn't feel it I wish my doctor would say she's going to induce me lol. Well maybe it won't be that bad 😁 @ryanandgreysonsmom
Oh no not good lol I don't think they know what to do in situations like this 😂😂 @klove23
@ambyjay7 you get less painful contractions and feel like you need to poop at pushing time. and that's it!
Oh lol yea my doctor talked about inducing me from the moment she met me pretty much lol I'm nervous but honestly I didn't feel the epidural get put in at all and then I slept till it was time to push and it wore off and I pushed it was great in my experience
Yeah that's what I'm afraid of having back pain and where I work all I do is stand on my feet @babyboy528
@ambyjay7 you can feel everything but like I said, pushing wasnt painful to me. I can't imagine not feeling it because it was hard for me. feeling the pushes is what got my baby out. I think if i got an epidural it might have resulted in c section.
Thank you 😊 but girl my SO got kicked out before I had the epidural lol he thought cracking jokes while I was hollering in pain was a good idea smh.. I let him come back after I got it though lmao
Oh yeah that's what I heard I don't want to go to the hospital until I know it's serious because I don't want to get turn down and have them say go home lol @lucyyxoxo_
@ryanandgreysonsmom, lucky your having yours next week mine doesn't want to come out lol.
Your baby is soooo adorable !!! Oh yeah I'll have my husband for that if he don't get one my nerves lol. But thanks ! @klove23
labor is usually longer first time around. I suggest you stay home and relax as long as you can you'll be more comfortable than at the hospital.
I had the epidural and it was on a constant drip but for some reason it stopped working so basically I had him natural. but i had epidural with my other kids and it went excellent
I got and epidural only because I let my anxiety get the best of me in the moment and I wasn't able to control my breathing.. It's definitely possible to do it natural though ! It's just all about breathing and if that's the route you wanna go I recommend having someone to help you to remember to do breathing exercises, someone who can remain calm in stressful environments
Had it with my first and loved it they already have my put down for it with this one when I have my little one next week I'm so ready lol
Yeah. I want to try to do it natural I have no idea what to except because it's my first baby. But hopefully it goes by quick lol 😁 @lucyyxoxo_
Did you feel everything when you were pushing the baby out ? @kambam
Oh yeah I can see that you were prbly so numb lol. @mommyoftwo35
natural, I'm nervous this time around bc I know what to expect lol its not as bad as people say. once my son was out I was like that it?
natural. pushing wasnt painful, labor was but it doesnt last forever. I used the laughing gas to get through which kinda helped but breathing is key for a natural birth.
my epidural was the best lol. only problem was I had trouble pushing because I couldn't feel anything lol. so they let it wear off some and I pushed her out no problem. once I got my epidural I dilated quick and slept like a baby lol
Really ? That's weird. I'm kind of nervous that I won't be able to take the pain and chicken out. I want to be present and not all drugged out when he comes lol @mv92
natural twice. epidural once not by choice though, i still felt EVERYTHING with epidural, so i prefer to go natural.
Lol yeah I guess everyone is different. It will def be there when I need it. @mommyoftwo35
I had the epidural and I'm probably gonna get it again lol
