How much were they? They're gorgeous and totally safe. I actually asked the highway patrol officer that checked my car seat today.

you're not supposed to put anything in the car seat that didn't come with it. could be hazardous.

they may be safe.. but if there is an accident the car seat manufacturer won't be liable for damages. it voids the warranty. I think they are adorable, and if the officer said it's safe I'd get one.

@dcb012, it's a blanket that has slots for the straps, and doesn't add any extra padding to the back. It just adds warmth from the minky fabric 👍🏽

It voids the car seat warranty, is a fire hazard, and yes it does add extra padding.... Therefor making it unsafe. Hi way patrol are not car seat certified....

@dcb012, that's pretty dumb of Babies r Us to have CHP come out and check your car seats then if they aren't car seat certified 😑 serves no purpose

Nope it doesn't. They know "most" laws but more times than not they aren't up to date. They don't have to.... @christineg most fire departments and cops aren't either....

@1sttimemummy, I should double check mine to be sure 😉 I heard people use these blankets for strollers too so that's an idea.
