Do you guys put lotion on your two week old?? Why or why not? Thanks guys!

I put lotion on my daughter 3 days after she was born between her skin was cracking and starting to bleed. I put a little Vaseline in with the lotion. Now you coconut oil be because lotion gets in her fat areas and her smell like belly button. Probably because of the heat.

At first I didn't want to but he was sooo dry I started to..

My baby will be 6 weeks this week, and I only put lotion on her feet or the really dry areas.

If you want to use something for your babies skin that would not harm them use coconut oil on the dry areas only.

I'm debating if I want to or not. He has dry skin in places but I've heard that's normal for babies and it'll go away on its own.

I have sensitive skin but I have been applying lotion on my baby girl from birth!

i haven't put any on my 3wk old.. I'm terrified she will have sensitive skin just like her momma!

my son is 11 months today and i have never put lotion on him. he never needed it
