hello I need abit of advice about breast feeding? I am pumping expressing milk by I only seen to get like 3oz n then nothing comes? and my baby drinks more than that a day. How do your boobs refill? what happens? They say I store milk in fridge n freezer. I don't even get enough to store????
I breast fed for the first 5 days none stop then midwife said express n use pump aswell. and said she can feed on demand as much as she wants. but I'm happy with way she is putting alot weight on. just feel not enuff milk comes out at times lol. Thanks everyone I spoke to midwife today xx

Ur breasts are always refilling and will never be empty, as she feeds or u pump ur breasts are producing more at the same time so just keep pumping and it will encourage them to make more. U may be able to get 3oz easily but it don't mean u can't get more out it just comes out slower so don't wait long before putting her on that breast because if u wait long ur breast will slowly reduce the amount it makes. I pump 4oz out of each breast and leave that for my partner to feed my daughter and if she wants some right after I have pumped I put her on the breast that I pumped from so she can have the fatty milk. When u first pump u will get foremilk which is low in calories then after comes the hindmilk which is high in calories. This seems to satisfy my daughter as she's mainly getting the fatty milk for that feed so maybe this might be useful for ur daughter aswell. My daughters 3 weeks and is on 4 ounces roughly per feed as its so warm. Hope this helps X

Got my wic food today and went to the wic store I got alot of milk tho lol did you guys get alot of milk to?
So since Eliana just drinks almond milk now it's hard to take extra milk with us anywhere.. So I guess my question is, is there like little take along almond milk boxes? Last night we was at my sil house and she had two bottles and ran out so I had to run to the store and buy a whole thing of milk 🤦🏻 it would be sooo much easier if I could find some in little milk boxes!!
I’ve pumped sooo much milk in one week I’m running out of room to store it. Any ideas mommies on what I should do to store babies milk?
UPDATE UPDATE::::Well I been tortured today with all types of exams n ivs now they gave me the COVID test I get the result in 3 days n they want me to walk in 45 minutes when the doctor gets back if my oxygen drops I won’t be able to go home I’ll be getting admitted.. gurlsssss I been threw it today n I’m starving n I miss my kids n I am still not comfortable

it's been 2 hours I just tried to pump been trying for half hour and got 1oz. ridiculous! !
