I am really losing my patience with my husband. He has never been one to help me out with our son. Never gets up during the night and won't do anything unless I ask and even still he bitches. I have never gotten to sleep in, not even mothers day. he got to! Well as of July 2nd my husband got in a car accident and has been out of work since. He is literally fine, has some pain, but he hasnt been to work in over a month and refuses to go. He is mad at doctors for not giving him pain killers. He now stays up til 2 or 3 am every night claiming he can't sleep and then sleeps all day. gets mad when i wake him. I am a stay at home mom who is nine months pregnant. Apparently he isnt allowed to lift more than 10 lbs so he refuses to lift our son and help me out. So here I am 9 months preggo, up early every morning, doing all this work, carrying our 25 lb son everywhere, chasing him all over. I am in so much pain, I can't rest because my husband wont let me. I just feel so depressed. our daughter is coming in 4 weeks and nothing is getting done because he is the knly one who can drive and he just wants to sleep and gets mad if i wake him.

Yeah, if you confront him, he will get defensive. It sounds like he really needs some help. Hopefully you can figure something out. What if you talk to his parents? Or someone he reapects? Sometimes bringing others into the circle to help is the best thing. Just go forward carefully, he may pull back or lash out. (hugs) to you.

thats what I was thinking. but he has no insurance or doctor and cant get any. He's just been going to immediate care and er over and over :/
Is he suffering from depression? I'd try to mention his behavior to his doctor (privately) and see if there's something doc can do.
You should make him go to your Doc. apt. with you and try to get your doctor on board with you that he needs to be the one picking up your son and hepling you out. You are the one who actually should be resting. shame on him! Maybe you Doc will put him in his place if you call him out.
