Just a rant. I chose to keep my son out of day care. Keep in mind I am NOT bashing any moms who choose day care.
I am choosing to keep my son home. My level of crazy would not be controllable if he got hurt due to the negligence of a care taker. I would kill someone. I wouldn't even think twice.
I have tried to explain it to my coworkers that he will NOT be going to day care. She proceeds to tell me I am harming him by keeping him home. Bitch please. Just because you pawn your kids off from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed doesn't mean I have too. She literally drops her daughter off at day care at 8am and works til 3/4 and waits until 6:30 to pick her up. And when she gets home she feeds her dinner and sends her to bed.
Nonononono I did not have a baby to pawn him off on other people to raise. I can teach him everything he would learn at day care. I have friends who have children his age so he gets to socialize. I'm so tired of catching grief over the choices that differ from other moms.
Yeah, I feel bad because she kind of took it upon herself to do that bc my grandma was going to me watching both of our kids and she just didn't want it to be too stressful.
@babyjjsmommy, I thought about maybe one or 2 days a week when he can talk. But I really like our time together. There are plus sides to it, and I understand that not all day cares are the same but it's not a risk I'm willing to take. I am sorry about your sister. I can imagine her nerves are shot.
I feel the same, if I didn't have my grandma to watch my son while I was at school I don't know what I'd do! I just hear too many horror stories of day care negligence and that babies/ children tend to stay sick more often if they're in daycare. I get that there are positives to it as well, but it just doesn't work for some moms. My sister will be starting her almost 2 yr old in pre school next week and I know she's nervous as hell.
It really is. Lol he works nights I work early mornings. It's hard but it's so worth it. My job is a crap job lol so they work with my schedule. He makes the money. I make just enough to cover electric, car insurance and payment and baby needs. He gets everything else. I am very blessed @babes101116
That's great that your schedules work that way 🙃
I don't have anyone here. And my hubbys parents don't speak English, only French and creole. They are from Haiti and their ways of raising children are different than how I want my son raised. @babes101116 it is my choice. My hubby and I worn opposite shifts so I can keep him home
Your choice. I have grandparents that watch the girls but that's it. School, grandparents, dad, or me.
so idk what to do im supposed to be moving out with my bf, baby daddy he is 14 yrs older then me and he has his niece that is 25 that lives with him and she has a daughter that's almost 6 but on day she was being stupid and told me that I might have her daughters dad closer then me then i though since then we have had lots of fights about it and he always says it's not his daughter but why would she say that and why would he have gotten so mad when i questioned him about it and every time he pos...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Dd was hysterical when he left
And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate...
