If you have a baby wearing support group near you usually they have carriers you can try out. Ultimately it really depends on the mom and baby because every mom and baby like something different but my vote is a wrap.

I hate the Baby Bjorn. It killed my back and I just feel like the seat part is too narrow. I have a moby wrap for my baby but the moby gets hot and is better for younger babies.
