I am very much into an all natural birth with no medical intervention (unless needed)
I've been thinking though that if I haven't had him by 41 weeks to set up an induction date. The last thing I want is to be induced but I'm afraid of him staying in there too long, even though that completely goes against my all natural approach.
Am I putting too much thought into this? My due date is Thursday.

I feel the same way as you do. Talk to your care provider about what is best for baby. Medically it may be the best to induce.

I essentially had the same type of vision for my daughters birth however I had to be induced at 42 weeks as my OB didn't want to take the risks associated with waiting past 42 weeks (baby's first bm in the womb, stillbirth, fetal stress, decreased amount of amniotic fluid)... definitely discuss with your care provider to come up with a plan of action that is best for you, your situation, and most importantly your baby.

@livd15, I know but I'm thinking I will ask for one if he goes over 41 weeks but I can't quite decide
