When do they usually start doing the cervix check? And how often do they do it? I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and I also have my doctors appointment, just curious on what to expect.

Does it hurt? I'm "high risk" so I'm surprised my doctor hasn't done it already. I'm almost 100% sure I will get it done tomorrow.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I was checked at week 37 and 39. I delivered 3 days prior to my due date. My doctor would not check me at week 38, apparently that's just her thing.
