When do they usually start doing the cervix check? And how often do they do it? I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and I also have my doctors appointment, just curious on what to expect.

Does it hurt? I'm "high risk" so I'm surprised my doctor hasn't done it already. I'm almost 100% sure I will get it done tomorrow.

I got my first at 36 weeks and then 38 and one more if I don't have a baby on Tuesday @cheyannalynn

Mine started at 35 weeks, (today), & at 36,37,38,& so on.

I was checked at week 37 and 39. I delivered 3 days prior to my due date. My doctor would not check me at week 38, apparently that's just her thing.
