Has anyone on here ever experienced preeclampsia? Today my blood pressure was a little high and there was protein in my urine. Just curious as to what happens next! I have to go back to the doctor on Friday

Oh yea you will be fine tho. You are way farther along than I was. I was induced at 30 weeks and 6 days after being there for a month. I hope your pressure goes down. And everything goes well for you. We are doing great he is home and doing great.

I had it with my first they watched me and decided if I didn't go into labor by 37 weeks they were going to take my baby but my water broke on its own for its was just time
@mommy_to_be.taylor, if my blood pressure is still high on Friday they are going to send me to L&D for monitoring and if I do have preeclampsia they are going to induce me. Thank you ma'am and I hope everything is going well for you and your son 😊
I just went through it with my son. I was kept in the hospital on bedrest for a month and a half. If you haven't been sent to the hospital I would say elevate your feet and rest on your left side that helps keep your blood pressure stable.
@bentleysmomma, that's kind of what's happening to me. Thank you girl @haleymclain1121 sometimes my vision is blurry but I thought that was normal and my blood pressure is normally low so blurry vision was my only symptom
Do you have any symptoms of it? Like anything that would have made you think you could possibly have it prior to finding out today?
I did, 37 weeks my BP was high at one of my regular apt's so they sent me to L&d, they found protein in my urine but not enough to say I had preeclampsia so I had to do a 24 hour urine test, they found a lot more then, i had mild preeclampsia and got induced at 38 weeks
@royallioness, oh okay, my midwife said on Friday if I still have those symptoms they will send me to L&D for monitoring and we will go from there. Thank you!
I did with my daughter almost 8 yrs ago...went to my doctors appt and my blood pressure was up so she sent mi to L&D where they kept mi..I had to do that 24 hr urine collection and that's when they learned I was spillin protein in my urine..I was induced at 38 weeks
