Why doesn't anyone want their mother with them in the delivery room?! I would have killed for my mom to be with me, you might think it would be extra stress, but coming from my experience, stress comes from just having your S/O in the room lololol 😂 The more support the better 😊

my mom was in a different state along with the rest of my family, that's why it was only me and my husband @babynessa I could have used a female as well. it was hard.

I wish I had a mom but I don't. It would have been nice if my aunt or my sister could have been with me but they live in a different state. My husband was a big help just being him but it was so hard for him and I wanted a female thats gone through it to help me.

What would you do? I feel so stupidly selfish if I choose to be induced because I want my boy to come when he is ready, but I am also feeling selfish stressing him out because everything going on and how stressed I am. So do I continue to stress him out or do I get induced and deal with this and let him be? Or will he be okay? I've been up all night contracting on and off but could it be from my nerves?

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
