@kambam, she works in a restaurant, so, she doesn't get sick pay. And I'm assuming that's why she opted to stay when he asked her to go home. So annoying, huh?!

I worked in fast food for years, if she was showing ANY outward signs of being sick including coughing, sneezing, sniffly nose, fever, diarrhea etc. her rights are waived and she can be sent home. It is a food safety hazard to have sick employees working, and if the food safety auditor happened to come in and see her they could possibly fail the audit or at least get a major from that (3 majors is a fail)...I would be FURIOUS with this bitch lol honestly, I don't remember if CA is a right to work State but those rights are taken away when they are not doing their jobs safely or correctly. We sent people home all the time and we had every right to do so!

Her doctors note only wrote her out for two days. And as long as the doctor said she was alright to return, then she can. @hellosweetie . Unfortunately, unless she was hacking up a lung, It's a huge fight. She could easy wrote corporate and file a complaint that she was being treated unfairly. It just seemed easier at the time to allow her to work. That backfired though! Haha
