Benefits you can get when pregnant ladies? I've been denied income support which means I've just lost my £500 grant 😩😩😩

if you can get maternity allowance or child tax credits then you should get it xx

I know exactly what you mean babe, I've worked in a full time job since I've been about 16 and I can't get anything.. Whilst there's people in the world that never do fuck all and sit on there arses all day and they get given the world xx

I know it's complete bull! I'm still waiting to hear back from them but if the final verdict is that I'm not entitled to anything then we might just have to "break up" 😂 still, it's sad that people have to lie to be able to survive. It's not like I'm hoping to be on benefits for the rest of my life, but everyone needs help at some point. xx

I know it's disgraceful. I moved in with him because the housing executive told me I'd have a house by June as I was classed as homeless and I haven't heard anything from them since April. I was living with my grandparents and it wasn't good bringing a baby into an elderly couples house. I swear they like to see people get put out on the streets!! x

Cheeky bastards. You need to tell them you've moved back out or you've split up... Naughty I know but I don't understand how they think you can live like that!!x

I've actually no idea, I moved in with my partner and they cut my income. He's only on 8hrs a week and is expected to look after himself, me and the baby. They pretend to help people in need but they're a load of crap if you ask me 😂 told me I should be working at 37 weeks pregnant and that I should be going back to work straight after the baby's born. Easy for them to say! 😂🙄

Benefits are a joke to be honest, I've just lost my income support and probably my sure start grant as well meaning I've absolutely no income at the moment.

I got the 500 once I had her as then I could apply for working tax credit so I got the grant after but was denied before xx
