my first appointment was at 8 weeks and I only got a urine sample and questions second appointment I got blood work done

ok, this appointment they said they were going to go ahead and do my Hcg testing & blood work, I just wanted to know how soon I would have my results..

I was like 5 weeks maybe then didn't have a heart beat yet had to go back in 2 weeks to see if it had one and it did and when I went to my regular doctor to check my levels before I went to my ob I had to wait 3 days..

@mrstaylor, OK, thank you! I think that's good enough, I hope that I get an ultrasound and everything at that time too. I think I just may be hitting my 5 week Mark.

Oh wow @ainsleighsmumma when did you hear first heart beat?

This is at 5 weeks through abdominal scan. Just the sac was visible.

@mommytobespring17, we actually still haven't heard her heartbeat. I have an anterior placenta and she hides from the Doppler. We saw and measured it at 7 weeks 4 days though

My first apt I was only like 5 weeks and my first sonogram was like 7 weeks. My HCG levels were low at the very beginning when I had my blood test to confirm I was pregnant. But they kept getting higher. I had to go for blood work like 3 times that week so they could make sure it was getting higher.

@missjess, OK, and Yes mine were right at 50 when t he y confirmed I was pregnant, I'll see this wee. I hope they rise at a significant rate as they're supposed to. I'm anxious.

I was too Hun! I didn't exactly know what it meant but I was like damn I hope they go up! And they did so I was good. Try not to stress about it. I'm 38 weeks now and Baby is doing great ☺️

typically the first OB appt you give a urine sample and get blood work, get the results the next day..after you and your OB talk you have a ultrasound somewhere between 8-12 weeks depending on your OB

my OB won't do a ultrasound until you HCG levels are above 2,500.. cause that's when you can see something on the transvaginal ultrasound

My ob didn't test my hcg levels or if he did he didn't tell me about it lol.

@kedrababy, you were probably just that healthy or that far along. I've never heard of that lol.
