They practice breathing the amniotic fluid more getting ready for the big day so they get hiccups. hiccups is also a good sign that baby is growing on track.
I was going to say the same thing @skyy12221 my little girl @mrs.castro05 gets them so often I had to ask if it was normal because my whooohaaa was hiccuping lol. We saw an ultrasound last week and we got to see her breathing. The best part of the whole US. It's super normal for baby to have the hiccups because baby is getting ready for them lungs for their big debut. Sometimes if you hold your hand on them you can feel where it's the strongest and know what position they may be in. I follow my little girl's all the way from my crotch up the left side where she is and sometimes it's just a few hiccups and other times it lasts for 10-15minutes.
@lindsey89, lol my mom in law says I mark my kids with hiccups cause I get them a lot during pregnancy and my babies get them like crazy in the womb and outside lol
@skyy12221, that's too cute. I had hoped today she would've been awake for the ultrasound because she was awake and hiccuping the whole ride into the city for my appt and was kicking like bat out of hell but DEAD ASLEEP and it was an ultrasound to check on her lungs and breathing skills go figure. And then the ride home was like the ride there plus extensive pushing down. Giving me lightning and hiccuping crotch in traffic isn't a good idea miss Sydney. Not when mama has SEVERE anxiety to begin with.
I'm hoping she's here by the 1st. They said I can't go over 39weeks too much because of the gestational diabetes. I just have to make it past the weekend and she can come anytime after that (you hear that baby girl you can pop out now!!) lol. I wish I had the energy months ago to do this organizing cleaning crap, unfortunately I JUST started THIS week 😱 hoping this makes me dilated more and we can see our little girl soon @skyy12221
@lindsey89, lol hopefully she comes soon and with my first I didn't start nesting until the week I found out I had to be induced that upcoming weekend lol this time I'm taking my time too but maybe I'll start soon I only have 6 weeks left until due date
