So growing up, my mom never let me just walk around her house with an attitude and not speak. It's disrespectful. My husband's sister (13 y/o) has not spoke to me in 3 days. Ignores me when I speak to her. Is mean to my baby. And I've told my husband that I don't like this. He hasn't said anything to her and I feel it's because she's going through a lot and he doesn't want to hurt her feelings. I feel like there's a line that shouldn't be crossed though. I feel like as his wife he should make her respect me especially if she wants to keep staying here.
Well we had a talk with his sister and she stated that she is just like that she doesn't speak but she will speak now knowing I feel like she is rude and disrespectful
You cut her off because she made you speak @samanthacross218
Ahh the good ole monster in laws. I can't stand my husbands siblings, so I just avoid them. I totally understand how you feel, yes in my opinion he should deff side with you but my husband does the same thing. I'm always like "really?" "They've been nothing but disrespectful to me in the past and you just talk to them like its nothin.." If that was my family I wouldn't, not until they apologize.
That's how I feel. And when I tell him it's like well she's my sister. I'll deal with her. But obviously she doesn't care. I'm about to smack everyone and tell them get out lol
Then your husband should definitely be the one to talk to her next. It's your house. You shouldn't have to be walking on eggshells. She needs to learn respect and appreciate the person who puts a roof over her head.
I've already tried that and just got the look of death.
I'd sit her down myself. I'd be like, "this is my house. And I like you being here. But, I'm not sure why the attitude towards me of my innocent baby. Let's just cut the bad attitude and we can all live peacefully."
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
