Yeah your son is a month so you should be pretty regulated in flow by now. If you're in that much pain make sure it's not mastitis like @arivera64 said Z

@chasinghappiness, don't use the cabbage if you want to continue to feed. If you do just pump, hand express in the shower, or use a warm rag. Cabbage will dry you out.

Well only do the above if you are trying to dry your milk. If you still want to pump, you just gotta keep going. If your breasts are full and painful and warm and you are still pumping....you could have mastitis. Especially if you feel feverish at all. If you can relate to any of that, give your doc a call

In between cabbage leaves you can use ibuprofen too for pain. Use warm compress just to allow some milk to drip without actually expressing the milk. It will be enough to release a little pressure without really telling your body to make more milk since you aren't emptying your breast

Yeah what @arivera64 said. If you are just pump or hand express. If you aren't put some cabbage leaves in the freezer.
