Exactly. if he isn't on the birth certificate he has no rights whatsoever.

Dont put his name on the birth certificate. He will not have any rights to the baby until you set up child support and he gets visitation. My hospital had a social worker come to my room to help me.

Just because he wasn't involved isn't a reason to keep his baby away from him and that doesnt mean he doesn't love and care for his child either. The only way you can stop it is if there is history of abuse towards you or other child and you can prove it. There is also a chance if you does drugs or is in and out of jail. You would have to proove him unfit. If he isn't any of those things and y'all just fell off bad odds are courts are going to grant him the right to see his child but if he's not on the birth certificate you do not have to allow him to see the child he would have to go to court to establish paternity.

Well don't stress yourself out! He'll have to pay child support for both kids if he does take you to court!

He has visits for my oldest Wednesday and every other weekend he knows I was pregnant and almost never asked how I was doing @brantleysmommy25 now that I'm going home he's gonna know about the baby and I don't want them around idk if I could get in trouble or not 😭😏

Your best bet is court girl! My sons dad isn't involved in our child's life anymore, he chooses his new family over him. You can tell the hospital that you don't want him or his family there!
