a little rant:

the baby shower was great. my mil did a great job planning it and finding the right things for it. hubby's family showed of course.

I had 1 Fucking family member show up! 1 out of 30 I invited! A couple friends showed up as they had rsvpd (they were the ONLY 2 people to rsvd). The one family member was a brother I didn't even know I had til a few months ago. yet he is more family than my mother SMH!

seriously?! At least a no or sorry or card or call... something would have been nice! but of course not. apparently I'm not important enough for them to even give some sort of notice. I guess I just won't tell them when our baby is here since they apparently don't care.

The gifts were great tho. they were all things we needed so I'm happy about that! I understand some people can't afford a gift and I don't mind that. sometimes I can't either... but at least a notice...
