I feel so guilty for feeling this way but I just have to get it off my chest! Yesterday was my baby shower, and it was great and I had a blast, I wish more people showed up that said they were coming but that's not what I'm slightly annoyed at. I am great full for every present we got please don't get me wrong, but I do kinda wish more people got things off our registry, I made it for a reason and those are the things we really needed! My boyfriend and I don't have a ton of money so we were hoping the baby shower would really help out with some of the more expensive stuff but no one got anything off the registry. I'm just a little disappointed :/

@mommahood93, same my family is so tiny but I'm fortunate for my fiance's big fat Greek family lol! I'm sure you will be able to find everything you need I went on diapers.com for a few things and they have really good prices on stuff!
@daniellemarci, that's nice of them! I don't have a big family, just 3 people in all, and my boyfriends family isn't well off so unfortunately I can't depend on them for most stuff...
@mommahood93, Yea and sometimes clothes come back so cheap when there is no receipt. I went to babies r us to return some thing and the clothes came back at 2 cents. I was worried that no one was going to get stuff from my registry but I'm so happy that my fiances side basically got everything and my family got me things I just don't need.
@daniellemarci, that's exactly what I did, I've done so much research on specific things I want. I got mostly clothes so I can't really return those for credit just Bc I'll use those. But yeah that's why I'm so frustrated. I feel like I just wasted my time.
I wouldn't feel bad if I were you but people don't understand that, that is why you make a registry. I know myself, I put a lot of time and effort into looking into things that I thought would be good for my baby. I made sure the car seat and strollers attached and the bottles were for breast fed babies etc. hopefully you can return the stuff you don't need and just get credit towards the items you do need :)

Yeah, I'm horrible at keeping my own secrets, but it seems worth it for the help we will be able to get via registry items or necessities.
I know my work is gonna have one for me, so I'm praying and hoping we'll get more essential things, and I'm going back and deleting all the clothes and inessential things from the registry to make the list smaller. I got a total of 5 things off ours as well @crazytoast I'm just bummed and feel selfish/guilty. And idk how you keep it a secret @expectingc everyone begged me to know and I probably couldn't have kept it a secret anyway! We're excited it's a boy! Haha
My husband and I are not revealing baby's sex for this very reason. We're hoping it limits the cute but unneeded items.
This happened to us too and we had two baby showers even. I think five things were purchased off of ours and they were all by the same person lol. We got one bottle and not even very many diapers.

@lexury, almost everyone who came has kids so I was expecting more needed stuff, we really didn't get to much of anything, even clothes, no towels or swaddles. Nothing of essential :/ that's kinda why I'm bummed.
Same thing happened to me. people kinda just got stuff they thought we're cute like a bunch of towels and clothes. But a lot of the people who went didn't have kids so they wouldn't really understand..
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
