My baby just got her first shots Friday and she has been fussy yesterday and today and nothing will help (feeding rocking etc). The doctor did tell me it's ok to give her baby Tylenol but my question is - is this normal a couple days after? I read online swelling starts at 23 hours and can last 1-2 days but her legs look normal size.

@m8626, no problem and even if there's not it's good to have one that does help fevers for future references

@m8626, you're welcome and that's good Tylenol should help. I used to give it to my son before shots to make sure a fever wouldn't get the chance to occur plus meds take time to work but sometimes I did after. As she gets older when she starts crawling and walking (far from now lol) it helps to massage the injection site cause sometimes it can cause your child to not want to crawl or walk which isn't a bad thing but just to help them push through it. It won't always be like this so hang in there 😊

Sometimes my son would be fussy for 3-4 days after shots as he got older it became 1-2 now he's not fussy anymore but still screams bloody murder.
