I a finatic about good quality products. Yes it works great. I only use half the amount suggested tho unless my baby's clothes are filthy but they're not really. I also put a cup of baking soda in the wash. Right on top of the clothes after loading them. My sons clothes last forever. He's 7 mo and I've never had one stained outfit! Try it out. See if u like it. Just kno Its not good for baby's skin to change detergent often.

I use babyganics loads of love detergent. It's hypoallergenic and chemical free. I get it on amazon. I use white vinegar as fabric softener as well.

I would use the one with NO chemicals in it. It might be dye free but it can still have cleaning agents in chemical form in it which are known to cause cancer and other health problems. Cheaper isn't always better.

i hear you. I currently wash for a family of 5. Adding a 4th child to the mix...i totally understand about being cost effective yet meeting everyones needs. I've been using purex free and clear for years now and we love it.

@arivera64, yeah that's why I wanted the baby detergent because me & my boyfriend have sensitive skin so I'm expecting them too as well. BUT if I can save money for the same thing I'll do that because lord knows I'm balling on a budget & twins are expensive enough. Lol

Lol....i say give it a go if you want to go that route. In all honesty though, free and clear detergents are the way to go. They are cost effective and work well (my husband and 5 yr old have horrible skin reactions to scented/dyed detergents). I pay $2.99 for a 35 load bottle. You can do that and get the babyganics lavender scented dryer sheets for a few bucks to help them smell nice after the was. That's another option.
