Not going to lie, two jobs is brutal. I'm often exhausted. That being said it really irks me when my SAHM friends complain endlessly to me about how tough their life is and about how no one understands. I'm not saying that it isn't, I'm not saying they aren't valuable. I've been a SAHM before too. But I have to be honest. When I'm coming off a 9 hour night shift, hitting a 6 hour day shift, then coming home to do all the laundry and dishes and dinner and take care of my 6 year old, the same stuff you're complaining about having all day to do, I kind of want to slap you in the mouth when you have the nerve to tell me that you're exhausted and that no one appreciates you. I understand we all need to vent and that both are full time jobs but...shush child. Just shush. It's one of those "hands on face, help me Lord Jesus" kind of moments for me. Lol! 😂😆😝
Honestly it's mainly just this one friend of mine. I love her to death but she has one 2 year old and her MIL lives with her. She keeps the baby almost all day while she does her Zumba classes and stuff. So today after like 3 hours of sleep I kind of was like nah. Not feeling listening to you complain about the 30 min of laundry you had to do. Lol! I hit my NOT today mode hard. ☺️
I have a 1 month old, 10 year old and run a daycare with 7 children from 7am to 730pm. it's stressful. I see why stay at home mom's complain. for 1 they never get to leave the house at all. working two jobs vs being stuck at home 24/7 would be much easier. cabin fever is a mother fucker. I can understand their frustration. every mom needs a support system. As my husband says happy wife=happy life.
