Why doesn't my little boy take dummies?! 😩 tried the orthopaedic ones & the cherry ones and he just spits them out, I've tried tapping it but it takes ages before he'll take it and then he'll just spit it out in his sleep 😒 the only reason I'm bothered about him taking one is cos I've noticed his bottle will send him to sleep even though he's not hungry he's just using it for comfort

@abbylouise, my LB's the same he won't take one most of the time! But he'll kick off for it but then spits it right out!! But I've found if you put it in then hold him against your chest so your keeping it in, he eventually starts sucking it until he falls asleep! Also I've found wiggling it about or touching the roof of his mouth with it encourages him to take it? But apparently some babies will just not take one whatsoever!xx
@ginnyw132, I was using the tommee tippee bottles so I got the tommee dummies aswell in both shapes he won't take them, I've switched to mam bottles about 5 days ago and had a look at the mam dummies but they are exactly the same shape as the ones I already have 😩xx

@chesscalouise2, tommee tippee in both the flat shape and cherry shape and then some of tescos own brand neither he liked x

What bottles are you using? If you can get ones that have a similar teat to the bottle it might help? My lg uses Mam bottles and will only take Mam dummies x
My LG likes the tommee tipee ones. You usually get 2 packs for either £5 or £6 in asda. She lets hers go when she is asleep too xx
well he won't sleep.... great... he's now up longer than when it takes us an hr to feed that at least puts him to sleep. I've tried everything I have given up for the moment and put him in his swing
I don't know what to do, I have fed him like 6 times since 9:30 and he still seems to want more. But he keeps spitting up and spitting it out after awhile. And won't sleep and just cries and shoves his hands in his mouth and opens his mouth. Then he falls asleep for a bit and I put him down and 5 mins later he's crying. 😞
what can I give my son to help him poop?? he's so constipated he'll push and push he'll turn red and it sounds like he's in pain. I already tried laying him on his back nd moving his legs forward it only helps once in a while
Soooo.... Tried Noah on some baby rice today (he's 4 months next week) as he's been showing signs that he's ready. Wasn't expecting him to be that interested but he loves it! Doesn't spit ant out and every mouthful leaves him with a huge smile!

my LG is the same, only ones she will take are the Maam night time soothers. they are alot narrower, give them a go?
