I'm worried I'm not gonna know when I'm in active labor. I'm group b strep positive I know I need to get there 4 hours…

You will know your in labor I knew instantly when I knew I was in labor but not active labor I was scared I wouldn't know but as soon as I kept waking up with contractions every 10 minutes unless your one of those people whose water breaks every pregnancy is different just got to remember that your pregnancy is going to be a lot different from your moms

You'll know labor pain when you feel it. The pain is indescribable. I tested positive as well but my water broke so I just went straight in.

@brooklynnsmutha, I'm hoping my water brakes because that's going to be my way of knowing I just hope I can have the 4 hours so I can get the antibiotics

@kaileenicole16, I hope your water breaks too! I was lucky. I was scared that I wouldn't know true labor pain but trust me, I can describe the pain like it was 30 seconds ago lol

I tested positive as well.. though I am allergic to basically every antibiotic so a c-section is looking like what it may have to be..

Don't stress about it. I had the same thing happen too me. They give you penicillin in a IV bag, & they said to me when I was in labor, it's very rare the baby will catch anything anyways. My daughter came out perfect. Just stay calm mama! I was scared too.
