question ladies...how can I let my mother in law know if i'd like some space when the baby comes. I talked to my husband about it and he took it personal. I was the one that offered her to live with us which is fine cause I know we're gonna need help and she doesn't have a place to live. it's nothing personal. but she was working so she wasn't at the house all the time. now she's not working and is there from at least 7am to 7pm (if she doesn't sleep over) and when she does sleep over they go to bed at 9. her friend is with her 24/7 so he practically lives with us now too he sleeps on the couch the days they sleep over. me and my husband already barely have time to spend with each other alone and we're newlyweds and just bought the house back in December. we'd have to go out to be alone since we can't really be intimate with each other like how we'd want to with them around and I just feel like some bonding time with just me and my husband and my baby in our house would be nice. not saying kick her out but just not be there as much. what do you ladies think?? She sleeps at her friends half the week but just to sleep though. she doesn't hang out over there. she has no hobbies. and the only time she's out the house is to grocery shop. I feel itd be different if she had hobbies or worked but she doesn't. I don't want to be smothered with a newborn that's all. let me know what y'all think.
