** REAL LIFE**

Scrolling through my news feed while having a very rough mommy day I thought to myself "I HAVE to be doing something wrong. How do these mommies have such great days EVERY day?!" Then I took a step back to remind myself that it's not real. They're ONLY posting the BEST parts of their life.

In this moment I thought "How nice would it be to not have kids! What I wouldn't give to just be serita again. Not mommy, not significant other, not a maid, not a chef, etc... just serita." I absolutely couldn't imagine my life without my three favorite little humans and my little family.

Relationships are hard, losing yourself to being a Mommy is hard, taking care of everyone around you and putting yourself last is hard.

- But it's what we have to do -

For the mommies reading this....when you want to scream and cry, leave and never look back, punch your husbands lights out, tell your kids to feed them dang selves, NOT sweep your floors for 72 hours straight, and on and on...... Let me say, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

No matter how many "perfect life" posts you see, EVERYONE struggles.

For the men with wives/girlfriends/baby mommas reading this... I know you struggle too. Every. Single. Day. But I ask you to try and make her feel special today because YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN! And Remind her, make sure she knows how much she means to you. It can go a long way. She wants to be the girl of YOUR dreams, not just 'mom' . Make her feel that way and she will build a life for you that you never knew was possible.
